    Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Women Empowerment Center, organized a training program specialized in financial aspects entitled "Reading the financial statements of small and medium enterprises", through video communication technology, on Tuesday evening, September 28, 2021.

    The introduction of the program, Dr. Karima Suleiman, assistant professor of accounting at the College of Applied Studies and Community Service at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, reviewed the elements of the accounting system consisting of the inputs, which are the financial data resulting from economic events, and the processing, which are the documentary processes that include analysis, registration, deportation, balance, rotation, and tabulation, and finally the outputs, which are the lists The four financial aspects are income, budget, equity, and cash flow.

    Dr. Suleiman talked about the importance of the change in property rights, as it is considered a link between the statement of financial position and the income statement, and also shows the financial status of the facility and its ability to provide cash flow to finance its operations without the assistance of external investment, and represents an important statement for investors to identify a preference for the movements that have been made on The net assets of the facility, as it is considered a basic requirement for the group of four financial statements.

    She referred to the horizontal and vertical analysis, and the first includes the statement, current and cash assets, current liabilities, and inventory, and the second includes current and cash assets, short-term investments, net debtors, inventory, total current assets, net fixed assets, and total assets.​
